A Study on Higher Order Synchronization of an Organ Pipe

Abstract(in English) In this study, we investigated higher order synchronization of an organ pipe in terms of harmonic components included in an organ sound and an external signal. By reorganizing the synchronization theory using Fourier's theory, we predicted that a synchronization occurs when harmonic components of the external signal approach harmonic components of the organ sound. This prediction was confirmed by acoustic measurements in which a sounding organ pipe was driven by an external acoustical signal.
