Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Developing the correct mental model of computer program behavior is important in programming learning. There are various causes for creating programs which include behavioral errors, besides errors in learner's mental model. On the other hand, the result of inferring the program behavior represents learner's mental model. This paper proposes a type of tasks to express learners' understanding of program behavior, shows the result of an experiment to investigate the effect of the proposed task, and mention the implementation of a functionality to offer the tasks on a visual programming environment.
