Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to achieve high flexibility and low control load in transmission path control for maintaining high quality communication in applications such as video transmission, we have been proposing a congestion avoidance technology called "inter-slice routing" , which can scatter packets of a flow to multiple virtual networks. We implemented a software router that has the inter-slice routing function and basic functions of normal IP routing using the Click Modular Router. The evaluation results of it showed that the router could achieve almost the same packet transmission throughput as a Linux kernel router. In addition, we confirmed that the inter-slice routing function implemented with the Click worked correctly through a compressed 4K video transmission experiment on the JGN-X network virtualization testbed.
