Influence of Mutual Induction on Switching Characteristics Inside a High Speed Power Converter

Abstract(in English) Recently, because of the development of power devices such as SiC and GaN devices, influence of parasitic parameters which are wiring inductance in power electronics circuits is discussed in many papers. However, it is should be discussed not only self-inductance but also mutual inductance in power electronics circuit. Because, power electronics circuits has some circuit loops such as main, gate-drive, and control circuits on one printed circuit board (PCB). This paper presents an influence of mutual inductance between main and gate-drive circuit, and simulation and experimental results, rated at 500 V and 20 A using SiC-MOSFET and SBD, will be shown.
