Abstract(in English) | Toward 5th generation (5G) radio access network in mobile communications for super high bit rate and large system capacity, low-SHF-band is expected to realize super high data rate of more than 5 Gbps by using 2 streams spatial multiplexing to each of 8 users, with 100 MHz bandwidth and 128 transmit antenna elements. In low-SHF-band, full digital Massive MIMO technology can be applied and digital joint processing of fixed beamforming (BF) and CSI-based precoding (FBCP) has been proposed as a digital BF scheme. Previous study about digital FBCP assumed ideal CSI estimation. In this paper, we apply actual channel estimation with reference signals and optimize the number of beams in consideration of the insertion loss. This paper provides throughput performance of digital FBCP with downlink or uplink CSI estimation. |
