Abstract(in English) | With making in-vehicle applications diverse and high functional, it is required to enhance the data rate in-vehicle networks. However, the networks should be complicated due to additional wiring and communication devices to make the data rate higher and the node capacity larger for binary pulse transmission. We focus on HomePlug~AV2 which is one of power line communication~(PLC) standards using multi-carrier transmission to achieve higher data rate and larger node capacity without modifying the simple bus network shared by a transmit. In this manuscript, we investigate two kinds of in-vehicle bus networks;one is terminating bus to mitigate the waveform distortion, the other is non-terminating bus to mitigate the received signal energy reduction. We show the transmit characteristics of PLC adapters with HomePlug~AV2 for both terminating and non-terminating buses. |
