Abstract(in English) | The capsule endoscope is one of the typical advanced medical devices using wireless information and communication technology(ICT). It leads to less invasive diagnosis compared to traditional wired endoscopic methods. Not only that, it enables doctors to obtain images of the small intestine, whereas the wired endoscopy devices can only reach the colon or the upper part of the digestive tract. However, there is a limit in recognition. Therefore, we propose wireless remote system controlling camera angle of the implant capsule endoscopy in which (1)image processing algorithm of detecting polyp in intestine with less complexity and (2)unequal error protection scheme for polyp sensing information and remote controlling command which have different importance are proposed and analyzed in performance. |
