Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses a high-level design of an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) with radiation resistance. Among the radiation in natural environment, alpha radiation and neutron radiation pose a big challenge for semiconductor companies as they can cause ASIC malfunction. As one of the possible solutions of this problem, we focus on data scrubbing which is the process of detecting and correcting one-bit error, and writing it back in a register. In this paper, we consider a synthesis problem of ASIC with radiation resistance such that if a scheduled data-flow graph is given as an ASIC specification, find a data scrubbing scheduling with the minimum number of corrector circuits. We propose an integer linear programming formulation of this problem.
