A development of RF device employing 3D coupling structure

Abstract(in English) A short wavelength CWP3DCS (coplanar waveguide employing periodic 3D coupling structures) was developed for application to miniaturized on-chip RF components on silicon substrate. Of all silicon-based transmission line structures that have been reported to date, the CWP3DCS showed the shortest wavelength. Using the CWP3DCS, a highly miniaturized on-chip impedance transformer was realized on silicon substrate.
