Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) FMCW optical sensing system is a high-resolution optical ranging system using a frequency-swept laser source, and the optical frequency should be linearly swept in time to achieve ultimate performance. We propose and demonstrate a method to linearize optical frequency sweep by modifying the modulation waveform of a laser diode to achieve constant beat frequency of the interference signal of an unbalanced optical interferometer.
