Abstract(in English) Two- or three-dimensional imaging of molecular species is quite important for life science research. Most drugs are small molecules ; however, these molecules are difficult to detect in biological materials because they cannot be labeled with chromophores. In this study, we demonstrated two dimensional imaging using intrinsic molecular vibrations. We developed novel phase-modulation in heterodyne-detected multiplex coherent Raman spectroscopy called quadrature-phase modulation and improved its spectral acquisition time. We successfully constructed a series of sliced two-dimensional images from vibrational Raman spectra. As a quasi-biomedical sample, droplets of small molecule drugs in an aqueous environment were employed.
