Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ultrashort pulse in mode-locked laser with an intra-cavity nonlinear medium was theoretically analyzed by using a nonlinear Schrodinger equation. If there is not a nonlinear effect, a saturation power of fast saturable absorber affects a pulse width. On the other hand if there is the nonlinear effect, the pulse width is not almost affected in the saturation power which are 3 kW, 10 kW and 30 kW. When the saturation power are 3 kW, 10 kW and 30 kW, the output spectra are broader than the emission band width of Yb:YAG.
