Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a novel light field imaging method for high-resolution multi-viewpoint images acquisition. Previous systems record multi-view images by a single sensor. Thus, they are hard to avoid the degradation of the spatial resolution of each view-point image. In order to overcome this problem, we utilize an organic photoelectric conversion film (OPCF). Our imaging system places the OPCF having the green spectrum sensitivity onto the micro-lens array of the conventional light field camera. It allows us to obtain the images at the different number of viewpoints and spatial resolution for each RGB color. Using the captured images, we reconstruct the full-resolution sub-images based on color and spatial correlations between viewpoint images. Our experiments using synthetic images show that our method outperforms other previous methods.
