Abstract(in English) In this report, a design method of a circular patch array wave absorber for oblique incidence is proposed. The incident angle characteristics of the input impedance of the absorber can be designed by the arrangement period of the patches. The absorption characteristics derived by using an equivalent circuit simulation agreed well with that by an electromagnetic simulation, and the effectiveness of the proposed design method is indicated. It was confirmed that the absorber designed for TE wave with matchingangle of 30 degrees has the reflection level below -15 dB up to 50degrees. Thus the validity of the proposed design method for wideangle design is indicated.
