Abstract(in English) | We develop beam-scan devices using optical multiple interference of an etalon. The position of the light through the etalon can be controlled by the wavelength when the incident angle of the light to the etalon and the distance between the collimating lens and the light source are optimally designed. In this paper, we propose the wavelength monitor which has the narrower FSR than that of the etalon by utilizing above phenomena. We use a split PD which has the two-receiving area separated by a 100 m-width non-receiving area for the wavelength monitor PD, so that the narrow periodic wavelength monitoring characteristics of a 25 GHz-spacing is realized by using a 50 GHz-spacing etalon. On the other example, we also propose the beam-scan devices for the free space optical communication. We show the possibility of 11.2 degree-beam scanning when the wavelength is controlled to 1550.53 nm ±0.3 nm. |
