Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a low-complexity signal detection for large multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems with around ten transmit/receive antennas. Specifically, we first propose sorted QR-decomposed Gaussian belief propagation (Sorted QR-GA-BP) and show that the performance of Sorted QR-GA-BP is close to that of conventional belief propagation (BP) detection while its complexity is almost same as conventional Gaussian belief propagation (GA-BP) detection. Furthermore, we propose a novel subgraph decomposition of the factor graph defined by QR decomposed channel matrix and further propose QR-decomposed subgraph belief propagation (QR-SG-BP) detection. Computer simulations reveal that proposed QR-SG-BP achieves the superior performance close to maximum likelihood detection (MLD) while its complexity is lower than conventional BP.
