Abstract(in English) The next-generation passive optical network 2 (NG-PON2) is regarded as the key technology for future Internet access networks. The bandwidth and power consumption of NG-PON2 must be scalable, flexible, and efficient to satisfy various QoS (Quality of Service) requirements and provide various services. Since work on NG-PON2 is still in its early stages, a simulation of NG-PON2 would be useful and effective in terms of its development and deployment. In this paper we introduce an NG-PON2 simulator and show simulation results of wavelength channel tuning and DBA algorithms using the simulator.
