[Encouragement Talk] Batch Construction of Virtual Networks with Topology Design based on Optimization Problem

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose batch type virtual network construction method with topology design based on optimization problem to increase revenue for a service provider. In our proposed method, at first, the service provider receives multiple requests for constructing virtual network in a certain period. Then, the service provider divides the received requests into some sets. Moreover, the service provider determines a scheduling for processing the sets and performs topology design of virtual networks for each set according to determined scheduling. Here, the topology design for virtual networks is performed by solving an optimization problem based on network resources. We evaluate the performance of our proposed method with simulation, and we show the effectiveness of our proposed scheduling by comparing with an existing method in numerical examples.
