Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For improving the channel capacity of wireless communication systems, the use of MU-MIMO (Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology has been considered. It is because MU-MIMO enables the multiple user terminals to simultaneously communicate with the same base station. As the method of implementing MU-MIMO downlink, Block Diagonalization (BD) and the improved BD with antenna or beam selection on user terminals were proposed. In the BD methods, the transmission weights are determined to cancel interference between multiple user terminals. This paper proposes Block Maximum Signal-to-Noise ratio (B-MSN) which determines the transmission weights to enhance the gain for each user terminal in addition to the interference cancellation. We evaluate the BER performance of the proposed method by computer simulation, and show the effectiveness of the proposed method through comparison with the conventional methods.
