Abstract(in English) | In this report, we investigate the effect of switching decision methods on QoE in the QoE-based video output scheme SCS for audio-video IP transmission. We employ two methods. One method switches the mechanisms by the percentage of error-concealed video slices in a frame. The other considers propagation of spatial quality impairment for switching the mechanisms. We conduct a subjective experiment with two content typeswhen one slice consists of macroblocks on adjacent two lines. As a result, we observe that the method considering propagation of spatial quality impairment can enhance QoE in a spatial quality-oriented content. |
