Abstract(in English) In order to provide broadband communication in fifth generation mobile communication systems, multi-band technologies that utilize multiple frequency bands have been studied and radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers are also required to amplify multi-band signals. However, the problem is that even order distortions occur in contact with multi-band signals when the multi-band signals at low super high frequency (SHF) band and high SHF band are concurrently amplified, particularly when the frequency of high SHF band is placed at about twice of low SHF band, and the conventional schemes cannot compensate for even order distortion. This paper proposes a novel scheme of digital predistortion (DPD) that can compensate for the even order distortions for concurrent multi-band RF power amplifiers at low SHF band and high SHF band. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve -50 dBc suppression of spurious in contact with each band.
