| Abstract(in English) | The Industrial Research Institute of Ishikawa (IRII) promotes technical support for the local industry in Ishikawa Prefecture, based on a concept of “a laboratory for small and medium-sized enterprises”. In the field of EMC and electromagnetic wave technologies, IRII is equipped with the facilities such as an anechoic chamber, emission measuring devices and immunity testing devices (ESD, lightning surge, etc.), thereby providing support for the development of local electronic, information and communication industry. The “EMC Study Group Ishikawa” has been established, to give lectures and training to engineers and researchers in the local enterprises, and to promote collaboration among industry, academia and government in the prefecture. This report gives an introduction to the several activities of IRII in the development of EMC and electromagnetic wave technologies through collaboration with local enterprises and Kanazawa University. |
