Abstract(in English) | These days, more and more devices are connected to the Internet and types of those devices become various. Thus, P2P network is expected to solve the server overload issue in C/S communication model. Among information search schemes in P2P, we focus on Skip Graph because it has strong churn resilience and has range search function that is desirable for a forthcoming advanced smart meter networks, and so on. However, Skip Graph constructs its overlay regardless of nodes' location. As a result, End-to-End delay between communication nodes becomes much longer than potential minimum value. To solve this problem, we propose a membership vector assignment method which takes their location into consideration. Moreover, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method through computer simulation. |
