Abstract(in English) An optical packet switching (OPS)-based data center network architectureenabled by hybrid optoelectronic routers (HOPR) is studied. HOPRs areinterconnected in a flat torus topology. For load balancing, HOPRs andtop-of-rack switches are connected in a multi-by-multi manner. Simulationsfor a 6-dimensional network composed of 4096 HOPRs, show the improvementof network performance in terms of throughput, packet dropping probabilityand latency, by decreasing the average number of hops.
