On the Improvement of Smartphone Positioning Performance Using Activity Recognition by Smartphone Sensors

Abstract(in English) In this paper,we propose a smart phone positioning method using activity recognition and carry out various experiments. The proposed method is constructed with a wireless LAN positioning subsystem and an activity recognition subsystem using an acceleration sensor and a pressure sensor equipped on a smart phone. Experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to conventional method.
