Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a method for estimating language genealogical relationship, generation of language family trees based on pronunciation change of the basic vocabulary has been attempted. This attempt uses a method of generation of family trees using edit distance between phonetic symbols of basic vocabulary string. But, this method does not consider closeness of the pronunciation. In this study, in order to propose a method for weighting assignment for the cost between phonetic symbols, we consider how to calculate the weights for using the edit cost.
