Abstract(in English) | To develop MTF(Modulation Transfer Function) measurement of CT images reconstructed by a hard kernel filter, we proposed a method to eliminate noise by fitting a logistic curve. In previous studies, spatial resolution was measured with consideration of shape of undershoot and overshoot to regard raw data. In this study, we focused on minimum point and maximum point of an edge to fit a logistic curve, and measured essential spatial resolution by the fitted logistic curve. The logistic curve was accurately fitted to raw data in ESF compared to the curve fitted to LSF with a derivative of a logistic curve. It became clear that the spatial resolution of images reconstructed by a hard kernel filter is superior than that of soft kernel. Also, we found that the edge parameter of logistic curve affects extremely to MTF comparison of the parameter of CT value in background and subject. |
