Abstract(in English) The loss fluctuation detection method using a branched optical line with OTDR would be a low cost method as monitoring technique using an optical fiber for disaster prevention. We tried to achieve low-cost disaster prevention system for using optical sensors of loss variation detection method with OTDR. In this paper, we report the examination results of the flooding sensor and the load sensor suitable for loss detection systems.
