Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Studies on tactile display for transmitting graphical information are carried out a number. Many of the existing research are information presentation defines the fingertip or Cartesian coordinate system in the palm which are the value of the two-point discrimination threshold is a small body site. In this research, we have created a tactile display and presentation system to the shape presentation on the orthogonal coordinate system set on the trunk section. We evaluate the effectiveness of in the shape presentation of tactile display that you have created. And we consider the effects caused by the shape of the actual trunk cross-section.
