Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Biological signal is important for medical diagnosis and treatment, so analysis accuracy of biological signals must be improved. Biological signals include the stationary component and the nonstationary component. The former consists of the regular signals which have a statistical property. The latter consists of the irregular signals with respect to time and frequency, whose mathematical modeling is difficult to construct. We tried to detect the nonstationary component of biological signals by using the stationary-nonstationary separating filter. Firstly, we try to detect sudden noises in ECG. The parameters of the filter are installed so that normal ECG signals are regarded as stationary signals. As a result, the filter succeeded in detecting some sudden noises. Secondly, we try to detect humps in EEG. The parameters of filter are installed so that humps are regarded as nonstationary signals. As a result, the filter also succeeded in detecting some humps. Therefore, the stationary-nonstationary separating filter realizes nonstationary component detection of biological signals effectively by setting the parameters properly.
