Fundamental study to improve accuracy of 3D reconstruction technique using optical transillumination images of animal body

Abstract(in English) In three-dimensional (3D) transillumination imaging of internal structure of animal body, the image is blurred due to the light scattering in the body tissue. However, the effectiveness of scattering suppression was not sufficient. We attempted to improve the effectiveness in the basic study using numerical phantom model. The validity and the usefulness of the improved technique was verified in the animal experiment with a mouse. Though these analyses, the feasibility of the stable and effective scattering suppression in the 3D transillumination imaging was verified.
