| Abstract(in English) | Capacitive in-bed cardiorespiratory monitor is expected to be applied to screening of sleep apnea syndrome without constraint. When body movement occurrs during sleeping, the resulting breath waveform with the monitor is corrupt. In order to improve the accuracy of breath detection, we modified a conventional breath detection algorithm. Two slightly different algorithms, in which body movement does not disturb breath detection, were applied to six-hour recodings of ECG and breathing. The accuracies of the two algorithms were improved by 7 to 10%. |
