Abstract(in English) | Ca2+ imaging is the imaging method of neuronal activity in the brain. Recently, the technological advance in Ca2+ imaging methods including two-photon fluorescence microscopy has enabled us to detect several hundreds of cells simultaneously at once. As increasing the data size the manual detection of cells becomes more difficult. Additionally, many researcher groups are desiring to acquire high spatial (more accurate cell shape) and temporal (more accurate neural activity) resolution information. Due to the limitation of scan speed we cannot make able to increase both spatial and temporal resolution simultaneously. In order to address this problems, we propose multi-resolution NMF to extract high spatial and high temporal resolution signals from imaging data with different resolution: high-frame-rate low-spatial resolution data and low-frame-rate high-spatial resolution data. |
