Abstract(in English) | In this study, the first author first proposes two types of resonators using microstrip lines and chip capacitors for satisfying the specification of Microwave Circuit Design Universiade 2015. As the resonators, one is chosen as the resonator with an attenuation pole at high frequency side of resonant frequency, and another one is chosen as the resonator with an attenuation pole at low frequency side of resonant frequency. The firs author calculates the two types of resonator's resonant frequencies considering capacitances and resonator length. After that, the frequency characteristics of the proposed resonators are confirmed by using electromagnetic simulator. For designing the bandpass filter (BPF), the resonator's external Q and coupling coefficient between the resonators are calculated. Finally, the first author tries to fabricate the super compact 2 GHz band BPF by using PCB prototyping machine. The experiment result shows that the proposed BPF becomes extraordinarily small as well as the frequency characteristics satisfy the specification of Microwave Circuit Design Universiade 2015. |
