A Study on Optical Link Quality Evaluation in Elastic Lambda Aggregation Network

Abstract(in English) A research project on Elastic Lambda Aggregation Network (EAN) is proceeding, in which multiple services can be efficiently accommodated by creating elastic optical paths with optical OFDM signals. In the network, parameters of optical OFDM signals are determined according to the link quality of the Optical Distribution Network (ODN) which is constructed with elastic optical switches or necessary bandwidth of services. In this paper, we experimentally evaluated the link quality with the ODN testbed to provide choice criteria of OFDM parameters.
