Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In delay tolerant networking (DTN), data communication is realized even if interruption or disruption occurs. When we evaluate the performance of DTN routing, which is based on data relay among mobile nodes, through simulation experiments, a mobility model significantly affects simulation results. In this paper, we propose a more realistic mobility model based on actual questionnaire-based data about movement information, called person trip survey. We use the maximum-likelihood method and Akaike's information criterion to estimate probability distributions of the moving distance of person, the departure time from station, and the sojourn time at destination. We implement the proposed model into a simulator and investigate the number of contacts experienced by a person and the message delivery ratio, comparing the result with the one obtained from the existing models.
