Abstract(in English) Digital image watermark extraction requires an in-focus shot because focus blur destroys watermark component.Therefore, this paper attempts to apply a coded aperture to watermark extraction from blurred images.Unlike a conventional circular aperture, a coded aperture is an aperture encoded with a two-dimensional mask.In general, it intends to prevent loss of certain frequency range and is used for stable postprocessing such as deblurring and depth estimation.It is also expected that appropriately designed coded aperture will prevent watermark component vanishing by focus blur.This paper proposes a design method of coded aperture for digital image watermark extraction by simulation using genetic algorithm.In addition, this paper shows the effectiveness of capturing with the coded aperture designed by the proposed method with real devices.
