Abstract(in English) | Method of characteristics (MOC) is the calculation method which transforms governing equations of acoustic field into advection equations to solve acoustic wave propagation. Therefore, the method should be suitable to the calculation of wave propagation considering the effect of advection. In the study, we examined calculation method of acoustic wave propagation with uniform advection using constrained interpolation profile (CIP) method, which is a low dispersive and stable MOC. We made a numerical comparison between proposed method, the linearized Euler equations (LEE) method and exact solution. |
