| Abstract(in English) | This paper explains about the future visions of Wi-SUN from the NICT’s promotion activity point of view, by also explaining about overview of Wi-SUN’s background and certification system that is compliant with the IEEE 802.15.4g standard proactively standardized by NICT. NICT has studied on the required Wi-SUN specifications for each of typically expected future use images such as a high-capacity data collection network, an ultra-low-energy operation network and a wide area mesh network. After proof tests using prototypes and computer simulation evaluations, it is confirmed that the proposed specifications effectively work for those use images. |
