Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Massive MIMO is a promising technology for the 5th generation (5G) mobile communication systems. While massive MIMO contributes to the enhancement of multi-user MIMO transmission, the user scheduling requires high computational complexity. In this paper, we investigate low complexity scheduling schemes which estimate SINR of each user without matrix operation. As SINR estimation schemes without matrix operation, a polynomial approximation scheme which uses channel correlation between users and a single-user based scheme are employed. Simulation results show that the complexity of the polynomial approximation scheme is reduced to a few tenth of the matrix operation based scheme without throughput degradation. It is also shown that the complexity of the single-user based scheme is reduced to a few thousandth of the matrix operation based scheme with little throughput degradation as the number of spatial multiplexed users increased.
