Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In treatment for heart disease, it is important to detect arrhythmia in early stage. For this purpose, it is necessary to record electrocardiogram(ECG) for a long time period. Analyzing this large amount of data is aburden to medical staff. Therefore, automatic arrhythmia detection has been focused in recent years. In this paper, we propose an arrhythmia detection algorithm based on deformable model of ECG. ECG is consisted of PQRSTwaves, which represent an electric activity of a heart. Deformable model divides ECG into PQRST waves andextracts shapes and intervals of each wave to detect arrhythmia. The proposed method use AdaBoost with decisiontrees to detect both waves and arrhythmia. In the experiment, the proposed method achieved 85% recall and 87%precision for arrhythmia detection.
