Abstract(in English) | Auditory display is a system for presenting a virtual 3D sound space by sound stimulus toward both ears. In a conventional auditory display, short length impulse responses, such as head-related transfer functions, are convolved with DSP (digital signal processor) or native CPU. However, when considering the high resolution rendering of the long impulse response or native CPU. Nowadays, we can obtain high-speed internet. Therefore, sound rendering with remote high-performance server becomes available. The remote rendering gives us flexible and versatile system. In this report, we have developed a network auditory display system. With the network auditory display, we constructed a virtual concert system. A virtual singer as an avatar in the real world, can be controlled by Kinect. For the sound rendering, we can realized, position, distance, and directivity of the singer. We report on the overview of the system of network type auditory display constructed. |
