Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To obtain both physical-layer security and channel coding effect, a chaos multiple-input multiple-output (C-MIMO) transmission scheme utilizing Gaussian modulation has been proposed. In C-MIMO, transmission bits are modulated by chaos modulation, and a Gaussian transmit signal is generated by Box-Muller method with this chaos signal correlated with the transmit bits. A common key encryption in which the key is chaos initial values, and the channel coding by Gaussian coded modulation are realized by C-MIMO. Further channel coding gain is obtained by concatenating a channel code to C-MIMO in which a log likelihood ratio (LLR) of C-MIMO is calculated as a sequential LLR. However, the sequential LLR is a quasi-optimum LLR and there is a slight performance degradation. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a symbol-unit maximum a posteriori decoding to calculate an optimum LLR for C-MIMO. The improved performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated by numerical simulations.
