Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Neo4j is a graph database in which data are stored in the form of nodes and edges. It is becoming a popular tool and have recently gained wide acceptance. Neo4j allows users to retrieve subgraph that match a condition specified by a Cypher Query Language. This paper presents a data visualization system for viewing the subgraph retrieved by the Cypher. The subgraph retrieved by Cypher often contains various categories of nodes and they also have multiple properties. It makes difficult to find important characteristics of the graph when nodes are colored for each categories or properties since human being cannot recognize multi-colored items simultaneously. We thus use the icons in a 3D form that express the categories of nodes. Additionally, we introduced "responsive visualization" that allows users to visualize the properties instantly by selecting the properties; the interface that enables users to lift the nodes that have the property specified by the user to a certain height in the 3D visual space.
