Abstract(in English) In this report, we discuss a method of color image enhancement, which adapts to the characteristics of human visual perception. As a concrete method, the chroma of a color image is first independently enhanced while preserving the hue in the RGB color space. Next, the lightness is corrected in the CIELAB color space to consider the Helmholz-Kohlraush effect, which indicates the relation of the hue, chroma and lightness in human visual perception. In addition, a method of color gamut adjustment is proposed to address the color gamut problem accompanying the above lightness correction.
