Abstract(in English) | Modified prime sequence codes (MPSCs) are often used as unipolar codes in synchronous optical code division multiple access (SO-CDMA) systems. Three excellent multiple user interference (MUI) cancellation techniques, which adopt MPSCs as signature codes, have been proposed for SO-CDMA systems. In this paper, %based on the MUI cancellation scheme for S-OCDMA, MUI cancellation scheme using bipolar MPSC is proposed for synchronous CDMA (S-CDMA) radio communication systems. It is shown that the scheme based on Shalaby's scheme cancels MUI completely and has an error free performance under an ideal link where noise can be negligible. We also show that the modified scheme based on EWO (CSK) scheme attains the better performance than Shalaby's scheme. |
