Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Appropriate history data collection (e.g., throughput) is important for mobile throughput prediction because communication quality is easily degraded in mobile networks. Therefore, in this paper, we evaluate prediction accuracies achieved by different time-series data observed by different video buffering strategies. In this evaluation, we collect throughput history data by changing video buffering interval: long (30s), middle (10s) and short (2s) intervals. Although observed throughputs are fluctuated in all scenarios, throughput behaviors are similar, and throughput can be predicted with high accuracy regardless of buffering strategies.
