Proposal of Loss Ratio Adjustment for the Simulation Method Using Statistical Techniques

Abstract(in English) It is very important to grasp the characteristics of packet loss against traffic form and buffer size in network planning and operation of multicasting video stream. Monte Carlo simulation is one of the effective methods to do it. However, it is not clear when the simulation should be stopped to get loss ratio. I proposed a new simulation method of loss ratio using statistical techniques and reported evaluation results. In this paper, a loss ratio adjustment of the proposed simulation method is proposed and evaluation results for MMPP/M/1/K are reported.
