Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The next generation wireless systems are expected to operate in wide range of spectrum including non-continuous allocations. Also, this spectrum may be allocated under different types of usage policy, including secondary and shared access. There is a need for a radio interface capable to operate efficiently in such environment. The IEEE White Space Radio Working Group has developed the IEEE 1900.7 standard for white space dynamic spectrum access radio systems. Physical layer of the standard is based on FBMC modulation, known to have easy to implement trade-off between complexity and ACLR. The IEEE 1900.7 standard can serve as a complimentary technology to help to realize enhanced mobile broadband and massive machine type communication use cases of the next generation wireless systems. This paper gives an overview of key concepts and technologies included into the IEEE 1900.7 standard.
