Design of Indoor Multiuser MIMO Systems considering Fairness at 60 GHz

Abstract(in English) Recently due to the increasing of data traffic, 60 GHz band has been considered because of its license-free and wide bandwidth for the fifth generation (5G) mobile network. At 60 GHz, according to the standardization, it is provided to divide about 9 GHz into four channel. Here we examine multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) signal processing that combine spatially efficient MIMO and spectrally efficient OFDM by realizing 4 users spatially multiplexed at each channel. In the wireless communication at 60 GHz band, fading is not severe and it is close to line of sight (LOS) environment, so user scheduling considering beamforming in RF is effective. In this paper, we propose a user scheduling method that considers the fairness among users to give each user in addition to consideration of beamforming in RF.
